"My daugher said she learned more in that one session than she did the whole 8 weeks somewhere else...so I am excited for her. I just need to keep her on track with her homework. I would be happy to refer your services to others."

SAT Frequently Asked Questions
What is the SAT?
The SAT Reasoning Test (SAT) is one admissions requirement for most colleges and universities in the United States. Some colleges and universities consider the SAT an optional requirement and others do not require the test at all. Each college or university weighs the SAT score differently when reviewing the applicant’s overall admissions application. The SAT is a reasoning skills test; it is not an intelligence test.
How long is the SAT?
The SAT test is 3 hours and 45 minutes long. There are ten short 10-25 minute sections, each on one of three content areas in random order: critical reading, writing, and mathematics.
How is the SAT scored?
Each content area is scored on a 200-800 point scale, with a total combined SAT score on a 600-2400 point scale.
Do I have to report all my scores to colleges, or can I choose?
The College Board gives you the Score Choice option, which is your choice to report any or none of your scores to schools. However, each college and university can set its own policy for scores. Some schools request all of your scores. Some schools do not. Our rule is just do well every time you take the test!
Are calculators allowed on the SAT?
Yes, except for cell phone calculators, or calculators with a full QWERTY keyboard. Bring a calculator that you are familiar with on test day.
